.: Name of the project : The support for participation of Slovak institution in FP 6
Project was approved according to call - FP6-2003-ACC-SSA-GeneralThe project SLOVAK FP6 started its activities in august 2004. The overall objective of this project is support of participation of Slovak subjects in FP6. SLOVAK FP6 is focusing on research institutions, universities, and industry - mainly SMEs.
Planned actions are structured within 4 work packages as follows:-
WP 1 --- Network of national contact persons - WP leader: APVV
- Reconstitution of network SIKAS
- Interconnection of SIKAS and Slovak NCPs network
- Training of new SIKAS consultants
- Interconnection of NCP network with networks of the Research Institutions and SMEs network

WP 2 --- Action for support of SMEs and high quality research centers - WP leaders: APVV, ZPVVO, UP SAV, NTP, NADSME, BIC
- Elaborate guide for SMEs and Research teams
- Set up database and web site of Slovak high quality research teams and published on CD
- Set up database and web site of innovative SMEs, potential participants of FP6 and published on CD
- Set up information system for Slovak subjects to facilitate the access to running projects and new projects in FP6
- Set up two permanent consulting centers for SMEs - one in APVV and one in NOVITECH

WP 3 --- Evaluation and dissemination actions - WP leaders: APVV (UP SAV, AIRDO, NTNP)
- Evaluation and publishing of the project results in APVV - Info bulletin (in 2 releases)
- Organization of two national annual meetings
- Two international meetings of Researchers
- Publishing of the "success-story" - successful projects with participation of Slovakian
- WP 4 --- Project management - WP leader: APVV
